Sophie had a magnificant dream last night and what's even more awesome is how she was able to retell it and remember so many details. I can remember having very similar ones when I was here age too.
This morning as I was gathering my things for the shower, I observed as Lucas and Sophie stayed snuggled in my bed, talking. I didn't know what they were talking about at the time because I was rushing a bit and hadn't taken the time to listen in on the conversation. Something Sophie said must have caught my attention. I casually asked them what they were talking about and Lucas proceeded to tell me about the dream Sophie had last night. I grabbed my pen and pad of paper, and Sophie did the telling of the dream. Here it is.
"Last night I had a dream, I was in Lucas' shoe, and we were trying to light candles. Then God came and there was like a *BOOM* noise and I was up in the sky. I saw Bluff street when I was in the sky, but only the houses. I didn't see the street, or cars, or people. Just houses. Then God took me to Japan to eat some Japanese food and play for awhile. When I was there I saw some kids from school and kids from my class and we played. We played for a long time. Then I asked God if I couold go home and he said "sure". The End"
When Sophie was finished retelling the dream, Lucas turned to her and said "Were you good? Did you say please to God and use your manners?" Sophie said she did, and Lucas gave her a big grin and applauded her.
It was a wonderful morning.
